Deborah Heart and Lung Center Welcomed State Senator Troy Singleton and Volunteers for February Community Service Project

Browns Mills, N.J. — On Saturday, February 22, 2025 Deborah Heart and Lung Center welcomed State Senator Troy Singleton, Assemblywoman Andrea Katz and community volunteers for a Serve with Singleton project. The event, during American Heart Month, marked Singleton’s 70th community service effort since taking office in 2018.

Deborah President and CEO Jim Andrews welcomed the volunteers along with other hospital leaders. State Senator Singleton and the community volunteers deep cleaned Deborah’s outpatient area, waiting areas and chapel. Additionally, they repaired furniture and packed personal care packages for the homeless.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to State Senator Troy Singleton and his dedicated volunteers for their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on our community. Their generosity and hands-on approach truly exemplify the spirit of service,” said Christine Carlson-Glazer, MPH, Vice President of Government, Community and Military Relations, Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
