The New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (NJACC) has announced the appointment of Deborah Heart and Lung Center cardiologist Renee Bullock-Palmer, MD, as their 2023 Governor-Elect. Her Governor-Elect term starts March 2023 and her four-year term as Governor will begin in March 2024, when she will replace current Chapter Governor Jeff Lander, MD.

Dr. Bullock-Palmer currently is Chair of the NJACC Women in Cardiology committee.

The NJ Chapter of the American College of Cardiology strives to improve heart health through continuing medical education, continuous quality improvement of medical care, patient-centered care, professionalism, and positive influence on health care policy. It is a nonprofit state medical society comprised of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and practice managers.
